Please read the following information carefully before applying.
Brisbane Boys' College is currently offering Academic Scholarships for 2027 entry.
Apply for this ACER Scholarship Test if your child will enter Year 7 to 12 in 2027.
Apply for a Level 1 ACER Scholarship Test if your son will enter Year 7 or Year 8 in 2027.
Apply for a Level 2 ACER Scholarship Test if your son will enter Year 9 or 10 in 2027.
Apply for a Level 3 ACER Scholarship Test if your child will enter Year 11 or 12 in 2027.
If your son is currently attending Brisbane Boys’ College, please submit a Letter to the Headmaster and Portfolio of Accomplishments (PDF) to https://www.bbc.qld.edu.au/enrolments/domestic-admissions/
If your son is not currently attending Brisbane Boys' College, please complete an ENROLMENT APPLICATION at https://enrol.bbc.qld.edu.au/enrolment/start. IMPORTANT: Your Scholarship application will NOT be reviewed unless you have submitted an Enrolment Application.
Should you wish to postpone payment of the $550 Enrolment Application Fee until the outcome of your scholarship application is known, you may use the code BBCacademic. You will be invited to submit this unique code in the final ‘REVIEW AND PAYMENT’ step of the application. The balance of your enrolment application fee ($400) will be PAYABLE ON ACCEPTANCE of a SUCCESSFUL offer of scholarship.
You will be required to upload the following documentation for the applicant during the enrolment application:
Birth Certificate
Semester 1 & 2 2024 and Semester 1 2025 School Reports
Most recent NAPLAN Report and if undertaken, ICAS results
A Letter to the Headmaster, written by the student, and an accompanying Portfolio of Accomplishments.
We recommend your son’s portfolio highlights his interests and academic achievements, along with his broad involvement in school life, for example:
leadership roles;
community service activities;
participation and achievements in music (instrument played and AMEB level achieved);
or other co-curricular interests which may include participation in sports or activities such as Chess or Robotics.
Please upload the cover letter and portfolio (in PDF format) when invited to submit “Additional Supportive Documents” in the online application.
