You are applying for the ACER Scholarship Test at Norwest Christian College.
Please read the following information carefully before applying.
Scholarship applications for 2025 Year 7 and 2025 Year 11 are now open at Norwest Christian College.
Apply for a Level 1 ACER Scholarship Test if your child will enter Year 7 in 2025*.
Apply for a Level 3 ACER Scholarship Test if your child will enter Year 11 in 2025.
Application for Enrolment at the College is a separate process to applying for a scholarship and can be completed on the College website.
*Due to the significant waitlist for 2025 Year 7, those who are currently enrolled or have already applied or are on the waitlist for 2025 Year 7 will be prioritised for consideration of a 2025 Year 7 scholarship.
Applicants will need to upload a portfolio of achievements from a variety of sources such as school, church and community groups or events, music or sport achievements, and provide to the College prior to the examination date.
Please note the College only has a limited amount of scholarships available and receives a large amount of applications each year.
Scholarship Criteria
Academic Scholarships – applicants sit the ACER academic examination and, if successful in being shortlisted for an Academic scholarship, will be invited to attend an interview with our Principal.
Music Scholarships - applicants sit the ACER academic examination and will also need to prepare two musical pieces of their own choosing, for a separate practical examination at the College, which will be conducted on a different date to the ACER academic examination. Students will be allocated an individual time slot of 15 minutes in which time they will perform their two musical pieces and have a brief interview. Your child’s practical examination date and individual time slot and will be communicated in February 2024 with further information for the practical examination. Applicants successful in being shortlisted for a Music scholarship will be invited to attend an interview with our Principal.
Principal’s Scholarships - applicants sit the ACER academic examination and are also required to upload a portfolio of accomplishments which highlight their individual gifting (e.g. certificates, awards, letters of recommendation, evidence of community service, sporting achievements, etc). Applicants successful in being shortlisted for a Principal’s scholarship, will be invited to attend an interview with our Principal.
